The Director of Corporate Services is responsible for the management of Community Living Greater Sudbury’s Finance, Information Technology, Quality Assurance and Logistics departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Financial Management

  • Manage the organization’s accounting and finance functions
  • Responsible for oversight and support to the finance team.
  • Provide reporting and guidance to the senior leadership team

Fleet and Property Management

  • Oversee and represent CLGS in all matters pertaining to fleet and property management
  • Responsible for the oversight and management of all company assets, owned and leased, and inform management of the required risks and insurance relative to the risk management of properties

Leadership

  • Foster the achievements of the strategic directions of the organization by supporting and serving as a resource to all levels of management
  • Innovative: Able to think outside of the box to develop creative and new solutions to meet current and future needs of the program. Able to focus on desired outcomes, and how they are achieved by meeting and or exceeding standards based on performance, goals, and objectives of the program and the organization

Quality Assurance, Compliance & Information Technology

  • Oversees the Quality Assurance and Compliance requirements for the organization.
  • Oversees, develops, coordinates and administers the organizations IT governance, operations, hardware and infrastructure ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years in a Senior Management position, preferably in the Public Sector
  • Proven ability to lead and manage people resources by communicating job expectations, planning for, monitoring and appraising performance results.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, fiscal analysis and operational benchmarking and reporting
  • Knowledge of MCCSS Quality Assurance Measures (Compliance) Regulations
  • Demonstrated ability in providing strategic advice and expertise to senior management
  • Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of accounting and business software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
