Role Description:

Building advanced digital media capabilities and data strategies within a modern digital ecosystem is a priority for the Canadian business. This role will help shape best practices, build new digital infrastructure, connect data strategy and serve as the subject matter authority in digital media and analytics for the commercial organization.

In this role, you will partner with an empowered team of professionals including marketing, agency partners, media vendors, IT, data & analytics, regulatory and internal functions to build digital media strategies and capabilities. This is an exciting assignment and calls for an individual with creative thinking, strong communication skills and excellent project management abilities.

Major responsibilities:

  • Develop and own relationships with external media vendors to drive value, improve execution and performance for marketing teams
  • Develop measurement plans and benchmarks to continuously optimize media levers (macro) & campaigns (micro) based on analytics
  • Build and implement the guiding principles for audience first media planning and executional guidance across media channels to drive tangible business outcomes
  • Lead implementing and interpreting digital media analytics, in collaboration with media agency, partners and internal teams (ie. using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 360, and Business Intelligence tools)
  • Derive core insights from omnichannel data sources to optimize critical digital channels, levers, and media buys. Implement multivariate or a/b tests that drive improvements to the omni-channel HCP experience.
  • Lead SEO/SEM planning and optimization in partnership with search agency, marketing and IT to inform annual scope of work and resourcing needs
  • Evaluate and drive strategic improvements to Janssen’s digital ecosystem; partnering to enhance data strategy to support personalization capabilities
  • Work with brand teams and agency partners to ensure they are using digital levers effectively and follow best in class, compliant standards, for digital media delivery. Use existing and new partnerships to build a learning plan to increase the overall digital expertise for Janssen Canada
  • Provide ongoing POV’s on digital competitive activity, trends to help roadmap future improvements to marketing plans

Qualifications
  • University Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 7-10 years professional business experience required; with at least 5 years of Digital Media /Marketing /enabling experience
  • Preferred experience with: Google Analytics, HTML and other web-based tools. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM and Data Strategy capabilities are assets.
  • The candidate will have a proven track record of problem solving, collaboration, project management, leading through ambiguity, influencing skills and learning agility

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment, with business travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
