Digital Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the communications, planning, developing, content writing, proposal writing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategy. The Digital Marketing

Manager will respond to the essential priorities of the Creative Director plan of the C&D Group: specifically, to communicate effectively and use resources wisely. This role will be responsible for positioning the C&D Group to better respond to the opportunities presented by technology.

Responsibilities:

Ongoing Areas of Responsibility

  • Analyze internal marketing and website traffic data, build and present reports on data findings, offering recommendations to brand and business leaders.
  • Expert level of understanding of Google Analytics and other tools to measure web analytics or user experience.
  • Work in a cross-functional capacity with creative services, sales, and more on process optimization, new product offerings, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Measure and report on the success of marketing campaigns, and work to synthesize multiple data points to spot new opportunities and areas of growth.
  • Conduct competitive research to identify our strengths and weaknesses, collect competitor and customer insights
  • Take ownership of a variety of marketing projects and initiatives and work collaboratively with other team members
  • Support the Art Director and day-to-day people management functions
  • Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Ensuring consistency and excellence in all internal & external communications – written and visual, online and physical

General Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience working in a marketing, communications, or similar role, with a strong focus on data/analytics/ROI and KPIs, with at least 1 year in a management position
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing skill sets including SEO, SEM, and data analysis
  • Experience working in the media/printing industry is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, or a related field
  • Expertise with marketing efforts across a variety of channels including social, paid, email, and organic
  • Relevant experience in the private or public sector with particular emphasis on writing, public presentations, and marketing strategy
  • Data-driven, strategic thinker with the ability to understand complex systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the presentation experience
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
  • Creating and maintaining client relationships, and self-motivated yet customer-focused
  • Professional and creative written communication skills, with strong visual communication and design sense
  • Familiarity and comfort with Office 365 applications and video conferencing software

(Zoom, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams)

  • Comfort with and willingness to expand skills in technical and creative dimensions of print, web, and video production

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
