Responsibilities

• Create social media content to promote our company’s products on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn

• Curate specific content to capitalize on different platforms’ unique features (Instagram/Facebook and Snapchat stories, YouTube shorts, etc.)

• Write and publish different types of copy including press releases

• Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy

• Draft and implement the company’s branding guidelines

• Interact with external stakeholders on behalf of the company to build brand awareness/recognition and reputation

• Analyze social media analytics and modify the marketing plan as needed ∙ Coordinate social media posts to complement product launches and other promotions

• Lead content development meetings with other internal stakeholders including management and other media-savvy staff

• Manage promotional campaigns on various communication channels

• Create marketing material leading up to and following the conclusion of events, conferences, and webinars

• Write and proofread copy based on brand voice, branding guidelines, and SEO practices

• Respond to correspondence sent to the company’s social media accounts ∙ Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services

Core Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following requirements:

• Post-secondary education in marketing, communications or a related field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working on multiple projects at the same time

• Experience working under pressure and tight deadlines

• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Google equivalents

• Experience using communication tools like Hootsuite or Mailchimp

• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills

• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a group

• Exceptional level of professionalism
