Deckhand Position

Superport Marine has an immediate opening for Deckhand aboard our vessels on a permanent full-time basis. Casual/flex positions are also available. We are looking for eager and self-starting individuals responsible for the following:

• Support ship captains and fellow deckhands in line handling, cargo-loading, and maintenance
• Support mooring operations
• Maintain general vessel upkeep
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications

• Marine Emergency Duties (MED) Certificate
• Transport Canada Marine Medical
• Experience in the marine industry (fishing or commercial) an asset
• Must be willing to work flexible hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
