The Data Governances Specialist will join our growing team of analytics experts. They will be joining a team that is responsible for data quality, developing and enforcing policies to ensure that data is organized and maintained. They will work with stakeholders to build, and monitor ensure strong alignment with data needs. In addition, they will work with internal team members to ensure milestones are met and we are delivering against high value business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Testing large datasets to build quality and integrity
• Developing data policies and governance framework
• Data Governance Specialist will be part of data Council and Coordinate with different Data Stewards to track and manage data issues
• Develop improvements plans and subsequent control process to build trust in data
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation.
• Data Issue and Change Management, Critical Data Management, Data Quality Management, Data Risk Classification, Metadata Management, Permissive Use Framework, Data Access and Use, Data Retention and Disposition

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ Years with SQL and Data Models
• 2+ Years with PowerBI, SSRS, Azure
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordination with business units on data requirements
• Experience in Data Management and delivering quality datasets
• 3+ Years in Agile Environment & SDLC

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: High School Diploma

Salary: $95,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
