Position Available:
Customer Service/Counter Sales Clerk– Winnipeg, MB

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional Customer service in all areas of the retail store, warehouse and office; in person and by telephone, counter sales and invoicing customers.
  • Merchandising and maintaining retail store and warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Purchasing and inventory management (Inter-branch and external vendors), including coding and Pricing all inventory.
  • Daily accounting and month end procedures.
  • Involvement with Instore promotions and marketing and social media.
  • Assist with HAACP and safety coordination of training programs for the retail and warehouse staff.
  • Provide assistance to the Winnipeg livestock retail store and Assiniboia downs.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to provide satisfaction when addressing customer complaints.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and initiative for quality and superior customer service.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and under tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate must have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent and must be currently working towards or possess a Diploma or a Degree in Agriculture. Demonstrated previous accounting skills are a definite asset. Previous background or working experience in the agricultural industry is considered an asset.
