Job Description And Responsibilities

If you have an aptitude for automobiles, a solid work ethic, a record of success along with great customer service skills we want to talk to you! We are currently seeking a Counter Clerk to work at the Bucks Auto Parts, Winnipeg location operated by EVRAZ North America.

• Serve customers in a retail environment
• Perform daily cash out reports
• Prepare invoices for purchased vehicles
• Receive supplies, report discrepancies against packing slips, check for damage and sign necessary documentation
• Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities and unethical activity
• Keep work area clean
• Observe and follow all safety rules and regulation
  

Requirements

• Completion of High School or GED equivalent
• No experience required, previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrapyard/auto part environment will be considered an asset
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling
• Computer literate with intermediate skill level for Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Basic math skills
• Highly organized and able to prioritize competing priorities
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing and over mobile radio devices
• Polite and friendly with a customer service orientation
• Strong work ethic, uses time efficiently
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy for data entry
• Must have own vehicle as the location is not accessible with public transit
