Our Construction Team in St. John’s, NL is now looking for a Construction Coordinator – Piping & Mechanical.
What will you be doing?
- Provide constructability input for engineering studies and design
- Review piping and mechanical work scopes to identify and source material, equipment, and resource requirements for the development of estimates
- Prepare construction work packages for offshore field execution
- Provide onshore technical support to the offshore construction team during work execution
- Collaborate with various departments during work method development and to ensure all day-to-day activities are coordinated and deliverables are being issued according to schedule
- Participate in problem analyses and assist with implementing corrective actions
- Ensure offshore piping and mechanical activities are in line with Asset Plan
- Adjust priorities, work methods, and schedules to meet requirements, ensuring decisions do not interfere with overall platform work plan and operations
- Interpret and make decisions on piping and mechanical methods and techniques for planned work scopes
- Identify and offer cost effective solutions to both Aker Solutions and client
- Engineering Technology Diploma or Trade Certificate with a focus in Mechanical/Piping
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Construction Coordinator/Implementation role or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
