Overview

Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We have a 12-month term opportunity for a Cost Merchandising Clerk to join our National Merchadising department.

Job Description

What you’ll get to do in this fast paced role:

• Work closely with Category Managers and Finance teams to ensure accuracy of data
• Facilitate ad hoc requests to ensured all cost and deal conditions are executed accurately
• Validate and Release CDM documents and complete error handling as required
• Manage all generic in boxes as required and respond within the turn around times specified
• Ensure all Supplier Revenue conditions are created , maintained and changed according to business plans on instruction from Category Management
• Communicate any issues / concerns with Category Merchant
• Follow the validation guidelines as they are defined, adhering to all Sobeys Policies
• To review all new listed articles forms and update system accordingly for purchase and or sales conditions
• Required to investigate and resolve supplier inquiries as they relate to supplier revenue conditions
• Work with team to identify process improvements and areas of development as they relate to Rebate / Costing / Portal functions
• Liaise with the Category Management , Data Services and others as required
• Adhere to CEO/CFO policies as outlined by the company
• Update any Job Aides or process documents as requird
• Provide support to Analyst for data gathering
  

Job Requirements

What Your Resume Will Include And Demonstrate To Us

• An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a DEC and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Excel and MS Outlook
• Experience in the retail grocery business preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong ability to multi task in a fast paced enviroment
