CG Artist – Texture

Description du poste

Only applicants located in the Vancouver area or willing to relocate before their start date will be considered.

• Create texture from scratch and/or sampled photos, scanned references or any artwork necessary to create new objects or to match the surfaces of existing live action footage
• Work with the VFX Supervisor, the CG Supervisor and the Assets Lead to determine the best possible technical and creative approaches
• Deliver work within established project targets and quality standards

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a VFX studio
• Experience with Maya creating textures for hyper-realistic backgrounds and environments
• Knowledge of Mari
• Experience working with Substances Painter and Designer
• Knowledge of colour management
• Basic knowledge of the shading process using Arnold

• Profile :

• Self-driven, good communicator, and a great-team player
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Able to multi-task, set priorities and find solutions
• Autonomous

• Full-time, Permanent Contract;
