About The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Data Marketing, the Marketing Business Performance Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the results of relationship marketing campaigns, creating complex analyses, and proposing avenues for continuous improvement of various initiatives.

You will be responsible for analyzing email, mail and telemarketing campaigns for the various brands and regions served by the relationship marketing team within Intact Financial Corporation’s direct distribution and broker network.

In addition, you will be responsible for producing strategic reports, and performing data analysis and studies to develop business intelligence. Using your in-depth knowledge of our business domain, and your computer and analytical skills, you will drive the evolution of the relationship marketing activities and the marketing database environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyze the quantitative results (financial, responses, test cells, etc.) of the various direct marketing activities by identifying highlights and making recommendations and present the results to the various teams involved.
  • Extract and prepare data from various internal databases via SQL in order to prepare analysis sets.
  • Participate in the planning, organization, and management of direct marketing campaigns. Interact optimally and proactively with the various stakeholders based on a good knowledge of the challenges, issues, and operational and business processes.
  • Coordinate the planning and participate in the design, execution and validation of analytical tools and information reports developed by the team.
  • Conduct studies and ad hoc analyses from marketing databases and external data sources to develop decision-making information systems.
  • Act as a project lead for mandates and activities related to the optimization of the database environment in order to improve the efficiency of the team and the quality of the information produced.
Qualifications

What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or another relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience as a marketing analyst, BI or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of SQL language, Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Snowflake, an asset.
  • Experience in insurance and selling insurance products, an asset.
  • Perfectly bilingual (French and English), an asset
  • Experience in fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
