About The Role

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst for our Operations and Planning department, which would play an important role in our growth.

WORKPLACE: Montreal (2020 Robert-Bourassa Blvd) or St-Hyacinthe (2450, Girouard Ouest Street)

The Operations and Planning department is seeking individuals with exceptional analytical and organizational skills for a variety of Business Analyst positions, ranging from Junior - Intermediate - and Senior Business Analysts. These activities include but are not limited to eliciting and documenting business requirements and supporting the project team.

You Will
  • Plan and coordinate project activities related to organizational requirements or changes.
  • Act as a intermediary between I.T., users and managers from different hierarchical levels.
  • Obtain requirements from business communities using techniques such as interview and work sessions.
  • Analyze complex needs, information obtained from various sources, detail the high-level information and provide users with recommendations to their problems.
  • Document requirements obtained from business community using defined templates.
  • Ensure the link between the business units, the technology teams and the support team.
  • Act as PO if required
  • Organise and facilitate working session with experts from different fields.
  • Responsible for improving productivity and reducing risks and high costs through effective analysis.
  • Identify the need for change to assess and communicate their impact.
  • Support the Quality Assurance team during Test Planning and Execution
Qualifications

Skills :
  • Bachelor Degree or a combination of education & relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum one (1) year relevant business analysis and requirements elicitation/documentation experience
  • Experience in a variety of Requirements gathering methodologies,
  • Experience with an Agile approach, Product Owner role is an asset
  • Experience in complex business environments where multiple systems interact
  • Superior organizational skills in order to manage projects and balance multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Insurance industry experience is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required
  • Travelling might be required – 15%
