Job Description


The Business Analyst will work closely with Business Groups, Digital & Technology Resources and 3rd party software vendors to analyze and document requirements for solutions that provide value to our internal and external customers. Responsible for requirements gathering / analysis and testing for various systems which support our lines of business. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for proving 2nd level support on these systems.

  • Supporting the Product owners and Business Leads with management of the portfolio roadmaps
  • Develop a partnership with the business and understand and document their needs, business processes and requirements
  • Work with D&T developers to ensure that delivered solutions match business requirements
  • Work with users in diagnosing production issues and doing root cause analysis
  • Configure systems as per business requirements
  • Collaborate with vendors on learning best practices and configuration details of various systems

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Technology or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and business analysis
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and supporting complex software systems
  • Participation in 3rd party software implementations
  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices
  • Ability to Lead and Motivate small project teams though a projects life cycle
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis – including requirements gathering and business process mapping
  • Knowledge of writing SQL queries for data analysis
  • Knowledge of reporting and data visualizing tools such as PowerBi and Cognos
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication/presentation skills
