BIM Coordinator

• Assist with the BIM process and implementation for all Axiom projects and ensure building design is optimized throughout the project’s lifecycle;
• Ability to review design documents using 3D analysis software;
• Develop 3D Site Logistics and 4D Simulations to validate construction schedules and site approach; develop 3D animations and videos;
• Understanding of quantity take-offs taken from BIM models and attach project schedules to 3D models;
• Support and manage modelling needs and conflicts to senior leadership, key stakeholders and team and assists in the resolution of conflicts;
• Assist the BIM Manager with communication and coordination of projects to external clients.

• Diploma in Architecture, Engineering Construction, Building Technology, or related field;
• 1-2 years of working knowledge of BIM software including Revit, Navisworks, and/or AutoCAD is an asset;
• Understanding of full construction processes and trades (e.g., forming, glazing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.);
• Read and understand information found in construction documents, drawings, plans, and specifications;
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and owners, architects, and subcontractors;
• Experience with concrete high-rise construction and architectural knowledge would be considered a strong asset.
