Name and description of the hiring department:

The Corporate Security Network Access Administrator is responsible and accountable for analyzing, educating, interpreting and supporting needs for various clients, hardware and software within the Bell Canada Network.


The associate is responsible for acting as an intermediary between network systems and users. He/She supports users on different applications and systems while maintaining the integrity of the Corporate Security Policies and Standards and ensuring protection of our part of the National Critical Infrastructure.


Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Create, maintain, suspend and delete ID’s for users, systems and applications on the network based on user and Company needs
  • Support and educate clients on applications and systems which they and their associated privileges are assigned to
  • Execute reports on a regular basis to identify and track unauthorized or suspicious activities occurring in various environments. Analyze the reports generated and enforce the Bell Canada Practice Standards
  • Provide evidence in order to ensure compliance with corporate mandates audit requirements
  • Conduct investigations on network accesses for internal and external users
  • Analyze system failures for possible solutions or alternatives
  • Make decisions and take appropriate actions to ensure data integrity and overcome systems issues to enforce Security Policy and Standards
  • Plan and prioritize work load, adapt to priority changes and manage with work interruptions
  • Perform root cause analysis on client issues and achieve resolutions. Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written with internal and external customers
  • Ability to partner with immediate and virtual team


Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • MS Word, basic level
  • MS Excel, intermediate level
  • College Diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience
  • English, fluent in the language with no significant limitation
    • In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with English speaking stakeholders across Canada
    • Professional relationships with English speaking customers or customers outside Quebec
  • French, fluent in the language is required for the Québec location
  • Excellent communication and team working skills and able to conduct presentations
  • Is structured, organized and has a good capacity for analysis and synthesis when confronted with challenges


Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Experience in computer security and networking technology preferably in a telecom environment. Some knowledge of Active Directory, idMS, LDAP, remote access tools (SecurID, VPN), SAP, Network Elements and RACF
  • 2-3 years of pertinent experience knowledge in Identity and access management lifecycle processes and tools
  • Knowledge of Visio
  • Use and understanding of industry practice and standards (ITIL, PCI-DSS)


Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday; 8:30-5PM
  • 37.5 hours per week


Finally, the candidate must successfully go through extensive background verifications including but not limited to criminal record and reputational checks.
