About the Role:
Within our Bosa4Rent portfolio, the Assistant Community Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the day-to-day operations at 183 East Georgia in Chinatown. Reporting to the Community Manager, the Assistant Community Manager will focus on maintaining ownership of the resident experience by actioning resident inquiries and requests, fostering a community approach to build relationships and engage with residents and support building operations. This role is critical to our resident experience – ensuring to focus on providing exceptional customer service and striving to ensure that our residents feel valued throughout the entire process.

The day-to-day responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Responding professionally and promptly to resolve resident inquires and requests;
  • Establishing strong working relationships with residents, colleagues and vendors/trades;
  • Issuing key access cards (fobs);
  • Scheduling and conducting move-in and out inspections and key turnovers;
  • Helping coordinate vendors/trades for deficiencies and repairs;
  • Conducting regular building inspections and documenting any deficiencies;
  • Working collaboratively with the Leasing team to support leasing activities;
  • Identifying opportunities to foster engagement within the building and with residents.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has excellent customer service, coupled with a positive, enthusiastic, and charismatic attitude that shines in any environment. This person is someone who demonstrates sound organizational and time management capabilities, which will allow them to work quickly and accurately. Lastly, you are able to work independently, but also thrive in a team-based environment.

Our Must Haves
  • Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday;
  • Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role;
  • Prior experience in building management would be considered a strong asset;
  • Experience with, or the ability to quickly grasp industry specific software platforms (Salesforce, DocuSign, Yardi, Salto Systems, Certn, etc);
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is considered a strong asset;
  • Strong decision-making skills, ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) and build relationships with residents and the community.
