Atlantic Road Construction and Paving is looking for Asphalt Labours to join our growing team!

ARCP is a mid sized Atlantic owner operated and managed excavation, civil construction and paving contractor based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are currently looking for Asphalt Labourers to join our growing team for the 2021 construction season.

· We offer competitive wages starting at $17/an hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Load, unload and move asphalt/construction materials around the job site

· Daily involvement in safety conscious activities such as tailgate meetings

· Raking and shovelling of asphalt

· Prepare surfaces for laying of asphalt

· Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foreman

· Assist with any other tasks required by foreman

Requirements:

· Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation to and from the worksite

· Previous experience as a asphalt labourer considered an asset

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Must be reliable and punctual

· Ability to efficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner
