AP & AR Advisor – Birchwood Automotive Group

The AP & AR Team manages all accounts payable and receivable job functions for Birchwood. The AP & AR Advisor plays an integral role in the full cycle process and ensures that all payables and receivables are processed efficiently and effectively. AP functions include (but not limited to): posting invoices, reconciling statements, monitoring internal cheque requests, and dealing with vendors. AR functions include (but not limited to): daily deposits, posting daily deposits and POS transactions, and reconciling clearing accounts. Additional weekly and monthly duties exist around reviewing accounts for accuracy and maintaining robust records.

Essential Skills / Details

• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience considered an asset
• Experience using CDK considered an asset
• Completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting considered an asset
• High attention to detail, proven time management, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to apply critical thinking in all problem-solving situations
• Comfort leveraging technology for most day-to-day functions
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other applications
• Exceptional communication skills & ability to thrive in a collaborate environment
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation to work are required
