Gerard’s Equipment is a Kubota dealership located in beautiful Okanagan BC. We are a sales and service shop for heavy duty agricultural and construction equipment. We are seeking a full time Agricultural Service Mechanic.

As an Agriculture Service Mechanic you will:

Diagnose and repair all systems on Agricultural Equipment (i.e. Tractors, Mowers, Sprayers, etc.).

Perform preventative maintenance on Agricultural Equipment which includes filter/fluid changes, component testing/lubrication and various system adjustments.

Work independently and effectively on multiple tasks.
Accurately record all work done for customer and warranty records.

Communicate effectively with respect to all staff and customers.

Work in a safe manner in accordance with Worksafe BC regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

· 3+ years of experience performing service repairs

· Engine and/or component rebuilding experience mandatory.

· Preference will be given to those with Agriculture Equipment Training and understanding of farm and construction products.

· Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy duty and / or agricultural equipment

· Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

· High School Diploma or equivalent experience required

· A/C ticket an asset

· Forklift license an asset

· Licensed Heavy Duty Technician. Ag ticket is a major asset.
