Overview:
Compelled by our desire to become a globally recognized top tier regulatory agency, we are currently seeking an energetic and collaborative individual to join our team as an Advisor in our Digital Engagement & Outreach department.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing the OEB’s digital content roadmap. You will be writing and designing social content, identifying digital outreach and communication opportunities, and supporting the execution of stakeholder engagements (virtual and in-person). You will support OEB’s efforts to liaise with stakeholder communities, seeking out unique ways to ensure all are aware of energy policy, options and innovations in a changing marketplace and the role and value of the OEB. You will liaise with OEB staff, regulated entities, government staff and others to help coordinate and execute effective communications. You will track, analyze and issue post-event and post-campaign reports. You will help manage relevant website content, study our digital performance and produce and study analytics to help shape strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, create, publish and share content that builds meaningful stakeholder connections, increases knowledge and awareness of OEB’s purpose and encourages engagement
  • Manage social media channels (calendar, approvals and content postings)
  • Demonstrates understanding of Graphic Design and creative production principles
  • Oversee our social media accounts, and optimize interactions across all OEB internal and external digital properties
  • Respond to inquiries and complaints incoming from social channels
  • Develop and implement digital campaigns
  • Understand audience and use analytics tools to assess and modify content and campaigns
  • Identify new avenues for social engagement and growth and stay abreast of latest trends and best practices
  • Experience delivering virtual events over MS Teams and Zoom
  • Develop supporting communications materials including event plans, invitations, promotional, presentation and communications materials for live and virtual events, as well as newsletter production and distribution
  • Assist with stakeholder database management
  • Work collaboratively with the team, other OEB departments as well as with external partners
Qualifications:
  • Degree/diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, or equivalent
  • Three years digital communication experience
  • Graphic Design skills and familiarity with Adobe creative tools, including video production software
  • Social media savvy and active on current social platforms including experience buying and designing advertising on social platforms
  • Data driven - Knowledge of, and ability to, leverage analytics to test and drive campaign success
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Google Analytics, Stakeholder Relationship Management Software (SRMS)
  • Event planning experience with strong attention to detail
  • Bilingual English and French is an asset
