Your Opportunity:

Access 24/7 will be a single point of contact for AHS and Covenant addiction and mental health services. The range of services include: assessment, crisis intervention, navigation assistance, and stabilization services to the residents of the City of Edmonton and suburban areas. Access will conduct triage, screening and assessment in order to best match an individual’s need(s) to services and programs. Access 24/7 offers a wide range of services, as indicated, which offer the least intrusive and most appropriate services to clients and their families whether that be within clinic, community or client’s home, which are based on the needs identified. This Administrative Support III position reports to the Care Manager of Access 24/7 within Addictions and Mental Health. The position is responsible to provide clerical and administrative support to several services under the program. General clerical duties required to support operations and program. Client contact over the phone and in person supporting booking appointments. Data entry for various programs. Provide backup for other Administrative Supports in the program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Accurate data entry and attention to detail skills required. Excellent multitasking skills required. Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills required. Demonstrated knowledge navigating through and working with a variety of computer applications including; Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook email, Connect Care required. Excellent problem resolution skills required. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment with constant interruptions and changing work demands required. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical office certificate, Unit Clerk course, or equivalent training and experience.
