Shukr Group Inc. is a consulting firm that is based in the Greater Montreal area for over 30 years. We are urgently seeking an employee that will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and hardworking to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accounting records to date
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Manage cash flows and perform all banking operations
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Manage employee payroll
  • Produce payroll source deductions reports, ROE, T4,RL1, etc…
  • Produce GST/QST returns
  • Produce financial reports
  • Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  • Research and reconcile all discrepancies
  • Assist with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
  • Perform various office duties

Requirements:

  • DEP or DEC in Accounting or Administration
  • Must be fluent in English & French
  • Arabic language is an asset
  • Minimum 1-2 year work experience
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Sage Accounting
  • Excellent Organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrate independence, initiative, professionalism, and teamwork
