Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

a. Organize vendor invoices

b. Accurate recording and processing of accounts in Sage

c. Manage the monthly cheque run

d. Process credit cards receipts and reconciliation of visa statements

e. Posting of loan payments

f. Responsible for online payments

g. Replying to vendor inquiry regarding status of invoices

Accounts Receivable:

a. Prepare customer invoices

b. Cheque deposit and posting of collections

c. Resolve issues / discrepancies

d. Send statement to various customers and follow up on past due accounts

e. Daily update of records and analysis of outstanding accounts

f. Perform other duties that maybe assigned from time to time

Payroll:

a. Maintain employee records and keep information confidential

b. Gather payroll related data and process salaries in Sage

c. Update payroll records, if needed. E.g. insurance coverage, deductions

d. Prepare record of employment for separated employees

e. Responsible for source deductions, and Health & Education Levy remittances

f. Resolve payroll discrepancies

Other Duties:

a. Responsible for petty cash replenishment

b. Responsible for GST filing and payment

c. Bank reconciliation

d. Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

e. Prepare adjusting journal entries

f. Analysis of company performance on a regular basis.

g. Assist in the preparation of financial reports during year-end review

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $40,000.00 per year

• Accounting Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
