Abbotsford Chrysler is currently seeking an Accounts Payable person to join their team This is great opportunity for an individual with an accounting background to gain valuable experience. About the Role:

Supported by the Controller, the AP Specialist works closely with Department Leaders in performing general accounting duties.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

Salary:$45K -$55K (based on experience)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties
• Reconcile monthly Accounts Payable Sub-ledger to respective General Ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests and issuing reimbursement checks
• Process payments to vendors
• Prepare correspondence and documents as necessary
• Assist in providing information in external audit and internal audits

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years of recent experience in an accounting role
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Must maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
• The ability to self-manage one’s self in a fast paced and deadline-oriented role
• Must possess an intermediate level aptitude in the following applications - MS Office applications, Outlook
