Parian Logistics provides third-party logistics and centralized corporate support services to a group of affiliated Canadian clothing retailers, including Warehouse One, Ricki’s, Bootlegger,andcleo (the business units). Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Parian Logistics’ corporate support services include accounting and finance, logistics management, IT, and store construction services.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in Winnipeg! Reporting to the Manager, Accounts Payable, this role is responsible for day-to-day accounts payable duties including invoice coding, data entry, approval verification, and payment processing. The Accounts Payable Administrator will demonstrate superior analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

More specifically, the Accounts Payable Administrator will:

• Ensure accurate data entry, coding, and allocation of all supplier invoices into accounting software
• Control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Ensure invoices have appropriate support consistent with corporate policies including approved purchase orders, purchaser sign-off, and/or receiving reports
• Create and maintain new vendor information consistent with corporate policies
• Assist in the coordination of payment processing to vendors and suppliers
• Provide superior customer service to the business units aligned with Parian Logistics’ DC2 values

Parian Logistics is looking for an individual to fill this role who has the following education, skills and experience:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Ideally, a graduate of a Finance or Accounting post-secondary program
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
• Analytical, with superior problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of accounting and reconciliation concepts
• Ability to work and achieve timelines under pressure and among competing priorities
• Professional written and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Focused on positive customer experiences and delivering superior service to clients
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
• AP software experience is an asset
• Sales, logistics/distribution, and retail industry experience is an asset
