Basic Duties & Responsibilities

Electronics Technician Duties:
  • Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair install, maintain and repair electronic equipment Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies.
  • Repair or replace defective or worn parts and components.
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults.
  • Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
  • Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies.
  • Calibrate products using hand tools.
  • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports.
  • Supervisor other electronic equipment service technicians.
  • Read blueprints and drawings.
Job Qualifications:
  • Credentials: A+ Certification
  • Experience and Specialization: Computer and Peripherals, Computer-aided design (CAD)
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Soldering Equipment
  • Area of Specialization: Electronic
  • Computer knowledge: MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, Wireless networks
  • Criminal Background check required.
  • Transportation: Own transportation
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Manual Dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: up to 23 kg (50lbs)
  • Own tools/Equipment: Steel-Toed Safety Boots
