Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining the rental fleet, safety, and cost control when performing the duties of the position, as well as have a history of producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed the rentals fleet expectations. The minimum requirement for this role is 3rd Year Apprentice - Electrician and we will review all applications with a minimum of 3rd year to Journeyman Electrician.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain and service all rental fleet electrical systems
• Understand and maintain VFD - Touch screen control systems
• Understanding PLC programing logic
• Installing new electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in shop and over the phone
• Inventory management
• Help with larger maintenance and capital projects as needed.
• Coordinate with Shop / Operations Supervisors
• Cleaning and performing preparation of work-sites for safe operation.
• Field service calls (Limited)
• Performing other duties as required

Qualifications/Competencies

The individual in this role will have:

• Must have 2 years experience in oilfield electrical
• Reliable – strict adherence to Company attendance standards.
• Basic computer skills, math skills, and be good with numbers.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines.
• Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available on weekends for field call troubleshooting
• Must have a valid drivers license
