The YMCA Child development Centre - Martensville location - is seeking professional, mature, energetic, responsible, and committed individuals to join our team in a full time Educator position. Our Martensville location provides care children 6 weeks to 6 years old. Successful candidates will enjoy a membership to the YMCA Fit Centre including all registered classes, as well as a comprehensive benefits package after a 3 month probationary period.

Some duties include(but not limited to):

-Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment

-Participating in physical activities

-Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys

-Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness towards all living things

-Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing

Requirements;

-ECE level I, II, III

-Related experience is an asset

-Current First Aid and CPR

-Current clear Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector/Clear Child Welfare/Child Abuse Check

Early Childhood Education Skills

-Knowledge of licensing regulations

-Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music

-Play and Exploration training is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $14.25-$18.25 per hour
