A logistics company in Vaughan is hiring for a Transportation Customer Support Representative/Dispatch.

The position requires previous Dispatch and Customer Service experience.

Shift Timings:

Saturday/Sunday: 6am-2pm

Monday/Tuesday/ Wednesday : 3pm-11pm

Thursday/Friday: Off

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to book orders / loads to meet RTD dates
• Update TMW transport system
• Utilize PeopleNet for monitoring and compliance
• MUST HAVE 2-3 YEARS OFexperience WORKING IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY.
• MUST HAVE 2-3YEARS OF TRUCK DISPATCH and CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE (VERY IMPORTANT)
• Update TMS transport system and customer web portals as needed
• Stay in constant communication with drivers on the road
• Dispatch and plan drivers accordingly
• Ensure and assist drivers with safety related concerns & issues
• Advise on traffic and weather conditions and arrange emergency assistance for drivers when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Deal with conflict and be able to solve it quickly
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs
• Knowledge of GPS systems and geography
• Dedication to safety and accident prevention
• Ability to work independently.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to take responsibility for the quality of work.
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Working well in a team as well as independently
• Must have valid Sin Numberand Work-permit.

The position is not limited to the above and can be modified and expanded as required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Multiple incentives

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
