Tuber Towing is looking for a dedicated Dispatch Supervisor to join our team. We are an Edmonton based Towing & Transport company providing roadside assistance, Towing and Recovery Services in the Edmonton Area. We are looking for a skilled supervisor who thrives in a fast paced environment to join our team.

WHAT DOES THE DISPATCH SUPERVISOR DO?
The Dispatch Supervisor is the first line of leadership for our team. They will have the drive to lead a team of dispatchers and call takers to exceed company goals and expectations on a daily basis. They are always ready to face a diverse array of challenges and reap the reward of surpassing them. Much of your time is spent communicating with staff and supporting them through the day to day operations.

- Supervision and proactive communication with staff to identify operational issues and to resolve them efficiently
- Recruit, train and mentor staff, as well as hold staff accountable for productivity.
- Ensuring the dispatch department is operating at maximum efficiency
- Maximize efficiency of the Dispatching Operations
- Taking care of customer concerns and complaints that pertain to your team
- Identifying deficiencies that can be corrected and improved upon
- Scheduling your team and assisting with coverage

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A SUPERVISOR?
Ideal candidates will have experience managing/directing others, the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems and possess strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. - 5+ years of experience leading teams
- Experience in the towing or transportation industries is an asset
- Experience using digital dispatch and GPS systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and make sound judgment decisions in stressful situations
- Ability to multitask
- Highly Motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
