They thrive in a fast-paced environment and roll up their sleeves (literally) to keep up with the busyness of our Catalyst Restaurant and Bar. All plates, cutlery, glasses, you name it don’t leave the Dishwasher’s side until they are ready to hit the tables for our next guests. They take initiative to lend a helping hand when they’re ahead of the game and ensure their workstation is kept clean and clutter-free.

As a Dishwasher, a typical day might include the following:

• Clean, wash and disinfect cups, cutlery, dishes, etc.
• Dry mop and/or sweep the floors as needed
• Wet mop and disinfect floor/workstation
• Consistently inspect one’s own work
• Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
• Assist with other areas of the Restaurant, as required

To land this role you need to have;

• Experience in a fast-paced environment is considered an asset
• Certification or workshops relevant to cleaning (WHMIS) is a definite asset
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• CPR/First Aid certification (required to have a minimum of Emergency First Aid and CPR certification) required prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually
• All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work
• Experience in a new restaurant opening considered an asset
