Our Manufacturing client based in Mississauga is currently recruiting for an IT Director. The IT Director will be responsible for:·

-Administration of the enterprise network (i.e. maintain the network)

· Security of the system (i.e. network security)

· All hardware – maintenance, upgrade, troubleshooting, etc.

· ERP maintenance, to include interfacing with various management team members to extract actionable data from the system in order to facilitate decision making. This includes static reports plus PowerBI tools, dashboards, etc.

· Manage the two full time resources in Mississauga

· Oversee the Help Desk

· Overall responsibility for the IT department, including staff management, vendor management, research, planning, managing projects, budgets, internal technological systems, data integrity across internal systems, etc.

· Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, accounting) to enhance initiatives through technology,

· Develop IT strategies that will support long-range business goals and objectives and implement new processes and systems as needed,

· Managing the ERP system (technical and business aspects),

· Provide ERP support for the organization,

· Support users in multiple locations across North America

· Work with existing system providers to implement new initiatives and ensuring compatibility with company policies and procedures,

· Prepare, plan and co-ordinate new technology implementation and existing technology upgrades for short and long term projects,

· Preserve assets by building upon our existing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information security and control structures,

· Recommend information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements,

-Lead and manage projects from inception to completion while remaining on schedule

Our Mississauga based Manufacturing client is currently recruiting for an IT Director.

• MUST HAVE Manufacturing experience, working with supporting and implementing an ERP
• Has directly managed people in the past
• Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Oracle databases, ERP, Citrix,
• Microsoft Office 365, anti-virus, anti-spam, firewall, internet security,
• RDBMS knowledge,
• Wireless controllers and access points, LAN/WAN/VPN
• Disaster recovery and contingency planning,
• Other “nice to have” technical skills include: VMware; MPLS; Microsoft, Citrix and Cisco certifications; Telephone & VoIP systems; Internet Information Server (IIS); good working knowledge of ticketing systems.
• 15% travel across Ontario and into the United States
