About The Opportunity

The Clinical Transformation Director – Central Zone, provides leadership and oversight to the development of ongoing clinical operational work plans and implementation related to transformation, organizational design and clinical planning that will allow programs and services within the Central Zone to achieve successful transition in alignment with Nova Scotia Health strategic priorities. This will include the identification of opportunities to improve clinical and operational practice and processes.

The Clinical Transformation Director – Central Zone ensures a disciplined approach to transformational planning, with a cross-organizational breadth among portfolios and departments to ensure, on behalf of the Central Zone VP, that intended organizational integration and transformation is occurring on time and on budget and that project related qualitative and quantitative benefits are realized. This role is responsible for the operations of the clinical transformation reporting to the VP Central Zone Operations, including training and change management strategies to support teams through these changes.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
  • Master’s degree in a health discipline or business administration
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience at a leadership level involved in planning and implementing a variety of large-scale transformational projects and initiatives, provided across several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders
  • Experience leading transformation projects which included change management, training and communications plans
  • Experience engaging, mentoring and empowering teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, participatory manner
  • Experience developing programs and standards to support the vision, goals and objectives of a healthcare organization.
  • Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience utilizing technology to create efficiencies and streamline tracking, retrieval and distribution of information.
  • Certification in Project Management preferred

Hours
  • Permanent, full time position; 75 hours biweekly
  • Travel throughout the Zone will be required
Compensation and Incentives

$50.56 to $63.20 hourly ($98,592 - $123,240 annually)
