That’s where you come in.We’re looking for proven Digital Transformation Solution Engineers who have deep Technical Knowledge and can develop Solution Architectures, Solution Integrations, and Develop Applications that integrate Rockwell’s Core products, partner products (PTC suite for example), and newly acquired products (Edge to IoT to User Consumption). TheDtX Smart Experiences Solution Engineer is one of the concentrations in this pool of expert engineers.All of the Digital Transformation Solution Engineers are key contributors to the Americas Global Sales & Marketing (GSM). This role reports to one of the Digital Transformation Technical Managers (dependent upon related concentration) within North America and may work any place in the continental United States or Canada.Day-to-DayDtX Smart Experiences Solution Engineers are expected to look at various desperate data sources that complement the customer’s inputs to the system, such as MES, SQL, PLM, User, Smart System, Custom, etc., and create an integration point in Rockwell’s Core products.This is an elite team with knowledge that spans the complete Rockwell Core Tool Suite, as well as Partner Tools, such as the vast tool suite of PTC (ThingWorx, Vuforia, Creo, Windchill, Machine Learning, and Spatial).This Team’s primary focus is providing Experiences to the broader Ecosystem (our Customers, the DtX CoE, our Global Centers of Excellence, and our Customer Trade Show events). The team will provide Smart Experiences that demonstrate the “Art of the Possible” (effectively increasing knowledge transfer exponentially with Industry-focused examples).They are also required to understand how the Users of the system might interact with the data through rich Dashboards, published to a plethora of Devices (Desktop, HMI, Handheld, Wearables, and Immersive).The DtX Smart Experiences Solution Engineer is a technical leader capable of driving internal and external customer knowledge growth. The DtX Smart Experiences Solution Engineer is an integral part of the DtX Center of Excellence and is passionate and driven by cutting-edge technology.Your Impact

• You will assist companies in their digital transformation.
• You will create innovative solutions, applications & processes for Rockwell Core Tools, Partner Tools, and Acquired Tools.
• You will be recognized as a SME (subject-matter-expert) by our customers.
• You will work with the DTX Business Team to build Use Cases centered around Repeatable Patterns in Industries contributing to Connected Industry Offerings & Architectures to deliver Smart Experiences.
• You will contribute to demonstrative “Art of the Possible” customer experiences, developing solutions customers can adopt across the depth & breadth of RA Core and Partner Tools (such as PTC).
• You will contribute to Marketing Wrappers (Solid Solutions Architectures), working with the DTX Business Team to deliver to the Ecosystem.
• You will contribute to Accelerators for the Field. Work with BUs to incorporate Formats/Strategies/Functionality to Productize for Solution Offering and Release.
• You will Evangelize solutions to the Ecosystem and assist in trade show events.
• You will Support the Experience Centers. Work tightly with the ecosystem to develop “Art of the Possible” demos where some POC Work can be leverage at our Centers of Excellence, providing a year-round Automation Fair!

Your Team

• This is a team of subject-matter-experts, application & solution engineers who are passionate about Solution Architecture and who have a strong focus on architecting & designing value added solutions for our clients and prospects.
• You will be an integral member of our Digital Transformation Center of Excellence solution engineering team.
• Your Expertise will center-around, but shall not be limited to, Smart Experiences as a Primary. Secondary skills may include integrating Rockwell Core Tools to IoT Platforms and Advanced UIs (Desktop, HMI, Handheld, Wearables, and Immersive).
• We will support the sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers and prospects.
• We will develop Higher levels of Integration. Leverage one another’s micro-solutions to build a true Digital Thread.
• We will deliver demonstrative “Art of the Possible” customer experiences, developing solutions customers can adopt across the depth & breadth of RA Core and Partner (PTC) Tools, and delivering to our Global Experience Centers and Customer Trade Show Events.
• We will contribute to Marketing Wrappers (Solid Repeatable Solutions Architectures), working with the DTX Business Team to deliver these proven architectures to the Ecosystem.
• We will Constantly Collaborate, working with many Rockwell Work Streams to strengthen the Ecosystem.
• We will be the Industry Experts in a number of fields Auto & Tire (which includes Aerospace), Process (Oil, Gas, Mining, Chem, Metals etc.), Consumer Packaged Goods (Food & Beverages, Household, and personal care etc.), Life Sciences (Pharma ), OEM ( Machine Builders).
• This high-level technically skilled team is multicultural, energetic and results oriented.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
