This internship opportunity has a targeted duration of 12 months, beginning on January 10, 2022.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Wells Engineering Intern in Calgary, Albertauntil Sunday, September 19, 2021at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the application of emerging technologies and innovations in an effort to optimize drilling / completion performance and increase operational efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the Performance Team and assist in benchmarking performance and leveraging lessons learned for future operations.

- General engineering related projects as assigned by the Engineering Team.

  • Perform supervised field trips to Wellsites to witness active completions operations as required.

- Active member of an integrated asset development team, including drilling, completions and geology representatives. Part of the #OneTeam.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Program in Petroleum, Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Civil Engineering disciplines will be considered.
  • Demonstrated high level of academic performance.
  • Good communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic with internal drive to succeed.
  • Strong computer applications knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Previous oil and gas related internship experience is an asset.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

  • Relocation may beconsidered within Chevron parameters.
