We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Warehouse Operator. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out operation and will be based in Labrador West, NL requiring candidates to work 7 on/7 off rotation including day and night shifts.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Assist in stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into Ellipse
  • Ensure understanding of cost implications on all transactions: Issues, credits, and adjustments
  • Ensure workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouse and stock
  • Organize and maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area
  • Implement cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
  • Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to Warehouse Coordinator
  • Operate a loader, forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment as required
  • Make team safety and efficiency priorities
  • Conduct continuous cycle counts and work to repatriate shadow inventory to warehouse control
  • Follows all environmental and safety policies as well as policies outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervision while demonstrating an authentic team player attitude.
  • Routinely makes informed judgment calls and performs work in the best interest of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent work ethic, and attendance record.
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts, 7 on, 7 off (days and nights)
  • Ellipse experience


Education:

  • Secondary School (Required)

License:

  • Driver’s License (Required)
