POSITION DESCRIPTION:

To select products for shipping using information from pick/pack slips and/or invoices and to place them in the appropriate staging areas.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Select products using Radio Frequency Units (RF’s) from the proper locations based on written criteria and procedures
  • Identify the released status of products and notify a Supervisor if a problem is found
  • Handle products according to client procedures and cGMP’s
  • Carry out unique order selection requirements based on Supervisors instructions
  • Receiving incoming product in an accurate and timely manner
  • Verifying that stock is not visibly damaged
  • Entering inventory into the computer system
  • Providing information to the Supervisor, and/or Operations Manager, and/or Quality Assurance Coordinator regarding any unique situations e.g. damaged stock
  • Conversing with the A.S.R.’s regarding any unique receiving requirements
  • Following Client receiving procedures
  • Load trailers with skid orders and palletized courier orders
  • Unload trailers of incoming product
  • Inspect both incoming and outbound trailers according to standard procedures e.g. inspecting for cleanliness
  • Wrapping skids and assisting in the labeling of skids for shipment
  • Assisting the Dispatch Clerk in ensuring that carriers are provided with the proper shipping manifests and/or shipping documentation
  • Ensure that outbound and incoming CPC and/or CHEP pallets are documented accordingly
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum education required:

  • Secondary school diploma

Minimum experience required:

  • 1 year warehouse experience
  • Forklift experience (Asset)
