Job Description

ECRB Investments Inc. is a small company that has grown exponentially through 2020 and 2021. Under the ECRB umbrella are several companies: a realtor team, an accounting firm, a stock options education platform, and a real estate investing company. We need another video editor onboard to support our videographer so our video content can push our growth and core values:

We have a full-time videographer who does all the filming and editing right now, but we’ve grown so much that they need support on the editing side. The editor we select will edit videos for our YouTube channels, educational libraries, and social media profiles.

First and foremost, you need to be detail oriented and seek consistent quality in everything you produce. You will take editing notes from the Videographer and Creative Manager on each project. Much of it will be consistent, repetitive work, editing podcast recordings, YouTube videos and social media clips with the same style guidelines and quality expectations each time.

This job will be a blast if you enjoy talking about real estate investing, personal finance, the stock market, and money in general. You should also understand basic business concepts such as supply and demand, income and expense, profit and loss, marketing and sales. It will make editing each video much less work.

We’re looking for a voracious learner. We’ve listed out all of the qualifications and such below, but if we can see consistency and attention to detail in your work, we are willing to provide training.

Responsibilities

• Work in the office 2 days a week in Oakville, Ontario
• Editing content for posting on social media, website, YouTube, and other promotional channels
• Editing videos for our educational libraries

Qualifications

• Interested in the Finance/Real Estate industry
• Own your own editing equipment and editing software
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
• Proficiency in digital technology (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, DaVinci resolve)
• Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
• Experience editing various video projects, creating motion graphics, inserting sound effects, music, transitions, and subtitles.
