We are looking for a compassionate and caring LPN with a passion for the elderly to temporarily join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/ Assisted Living Facility in Vancouver Islands, BC.

Contract:Temporary contract ( 1-2 months, depending on your availability) with possibility of extension.

Location:Vancouver Islands

Start Date:ASAP!

Schedule:4 days on- 2 days off. 8 hour shift; 11:00pm-7:00am.

Compensation:

• $45.00 per hour plusovertime (1.5x after 8-hrs and 2x after 12 hours)
• Allowance per week of work
• Accommodation provided

Responsibilities and duties:

• Performs assessments.
• Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
• Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
• Directly supervises care staff to meet resident’s needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Salary: $45.00-$67.50 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
