This position reports into the Manager, Transportation Canada and is based at 88 McNabb St, Markham, ON.

What will you do
The Transportation Analyst is responsible for helping assist and support the strategic focus and direction pertaining to inbound and outbound transportation to meet business critical objectives. They will provide support related to day-to-day operations, transportation optimization improvements, and be the driving factor in the area of metrics analytics, while also assisting with the priorities and deliverables within the scope of the Senior Analysts.

- Process Compliance and Innovation
- Transportation Consultation and Innovation
- Business Unit and Partner Relationship Management
What we are looking for
- University Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering or college diploma in related discipline preferred
- 0 - 2 years’ minimum experience in transportation / customs / supply chain
- Certification in Transportation, Customs or Logistics (CITT, PLog) would be of benefit
- Strong data and process analysis capabilities / problem solver
- Strong communication skills
- Technological aptitude (especially with Microsoft Office Suite); experience with ERPs & TMS preferred
- Interdependent partnering skills – able to work directly with customers and business partners to identify requirements and meet operational needs
- Excellent multitasking abilities; well organized
- Able to work in high stress environment; strong sense of urgency
- Collaborative and team focused with the ability to work independently
- Self-motivated, challenges the status quo
