Bassani Transportation Service Inc. is a privately-owned transportation company specializing in equipment, heavy haul, over-dimensional, and general transportation.

We are currently looking for experienced Transport Trailer Mechanics. Candidates must have experience diagnosing and servicing a range of commercial highway trailers, including tankers, in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Safety knowledge and comprehension skills are required.

Duties include:

• Service, adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• Competently use both hand and power tools in order to carry out repairs.
• Read and understand work orders.
• Write work orders, including parts used.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor / management.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Trailer Mechanic
• Two or more years related experience
• Hydraulic experience is an asset
• Positive attitude
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures & policies.
