Software Test Developer, AI Platform- 14 Month Term

Job location: Ottawa (or) Toronto

About The Team

As a member of our QA team, you will be one of the “behind-the-scenes wizards” who propel forward our integration technology – you will contribute by coming up with creative ways to break the software, asses it’s testability to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practices, bug prevention strategies, security, and other advanced quality concepts across products.

We are looking for a passionate, smart and experienced Test Developer to join our team!

What you will do

• Break stuff
• Be part of an amazing test team
• Contribute to a variety of test activities throughout the feature development lifecycle
• Collaborate and work closely with your team members and lead test architects
• Review and understand the Integration features and interfaces
• Review product specification and requirements
• Plan and implement new automated tests
  

What we are looking for

• Experience in a software development or software test development
• A degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• Ability to ‘think outside the box’
• Good understanding in all tiers of software architecture
• Solid proficiency in either C# / Java / Javascript
• Working knowledge and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Familiarity with build tools like Jenkins is preferred
• Experience in testing or developing Micro Services, Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, or Data Processing Pipeline is an asset
• Exposure to working on cloud platforms like Azure/GCP/AWS
• Good collaborative skills and a ‘work hard, play hard’ attitude
