Overview

We are currently looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. The Technical Writer will assist with the preparation of documentation to assist with the development of our products. Reporting directly to the Technical Writing Team Leader, the individual will also perform activities with the appropriate government bodies to obtain regulatory approval for the devices being developed.

Snapshot Of Responsibilities

• Assist with documentation associated with the development of medical devices
• Write various technical reports, SOPs, etc.
• Research medical devices, procedures or technologies
• Work cross-functionally with all business units/SMEs for technical review of documentation
• Understand quality change procedures and contribute/draft associated documentation
• Assist with the regulatory filings to the various government bodies
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• A technical degree and/or technical writing certification
• 1-2 years’ experience OR an equivalent of education and experience
• Background in Science preferred
• Strong interest in biomedical technology, technical writing of various SOPs and technical documentation for manufacturing of medical devices is an asset
• Willingness to take on new challenges and solve problems with direction
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of macros preferred
