Specific Job Description

  • Participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program between the company and a college/university student enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company.
  • Create mechanical packaging solutions using industry standard tools to design, analyze and document electronic assemblies
  • Understanding of configuration/change management principles and their application in the product development life cycle.
  • Support Production team during New Product Introduction (NPI) stages
  • Build parts BOMs and respond to obsolescence as required
  • Conduct and minute peer reviews of design output through project workflow.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Current student in an engineering field, preferably electrical or mechanical.
  • Working knowledge of MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio.
  • Aptitude for working well in teams.
  • Ability to work independently.

Desired skills, qualifications and experience

  • Working knowledge of Creo, SolidWorks will be considered an asset.
  • Active security clearance will be considered an asset.
  • Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.
