Position Reports To: Sr. People Specialist & People Specialist

Department:Human Resources/People Team

Work Hours: Full-time, 9 am to 5 pm EST

General Summary

If you are someone who is passionate about Human Resources and finding great talent, this role is for you! You will be mainly responsible for filling a high volume of positions and scouting for the best people to grow our company. Your duties include creating and posting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, and contacting potential candidates to join our family. You will work closely with our People HR Team.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

You are responsible for finding great talent that fits our Canadian Culture at eXp.

You enjoy working with others and networking to attract quality candidates

You will attend weekly meetings to check in with People HR Team and determine eXp’s priorities

You are great at building relationships, conduct boolean searches and utilize other online platforms to generate new referrals (Lever, Linkedin, Indeed, Job Banks)

You are able to support multiple team leaders with their departments and identify eXp recruitment priorities

You will proactively build a talent pipeline for our eXp family

You will ensure job descriptions are updated and current with the appropriate company branding logos

You will schedule interviews for the Hiring Manager and delegates as needed

You will conduct cold calls, phone screens and interviews when needed in our virtual world

You are detailed orientated and will be conducting references checks and employment verifications

You will champion our diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives by attracting and engaging experienced professionals from a diverse talent market

You are organized and enjoy maintaining and updating employee files in our HR Drive

You enjoy administrative tasks such as drafting and updating job descriptions, letters of employment, employee files etc.

You will be participating in HR projects as required by the People HR Team.

Education

Preferred Human Resources Management Certification

Experience & Skills

2+ years minimum experience in a sourcing role of recruiter role

Experience In Real Estate Recruitment Preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual Preferred (English/French)

Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms, crafting Boolean search strings, networking, cold calling, etc)

Has a strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing HR policies and procedures in

Canada

Exposure to employee benefits, recruiting, training, and employee engagement preferred

Proficiency in Google Docs, Gsuite,Gmail, MS office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Proficiency in ADP, ATS, Lever and HRIS Programs

Ability to work independently or in teams and remotely

Effective time-management and organizational skills

Motivated by identifying and attracting exceptional candidates to join eXp
