At PCB, the IT department empowers and supports our co-workers at the nine sister companies to make it easy for our clients to do business with us. Our companies are important parts of the supply chain - uptime, security and integration with government systems are a big part of our day-to-day. We run almost exclusively on Nutanix across two data centers, and we have a mixed environment that includes Windows Server, Windows 10, RDP Server and Ubuntu Linux. Job Responsibilities:

  • You will analyze, troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
  • You will plan, design, develop and implement infrastructure solutions.
  • You will triage, assign and resolve helpdesk incident tickets.
  • You will be a part of regular network monitoring, security reviews and disaster recovery plans.
  • You will assist in on-call and off-hours issues and upgrades.
  • You will manage and liaise with service providers, vendors, and external consultants when required.
  • You will help us research and explore new technologies to solve challenges.
  • You will show ownership over whatever you build.

Required Skills:

  • Educated and/or experienced in IT and enterprise systems administration
  • Proven troubleshooting experience for O/S, server, network and storage infrastructure
  • Great at communicating, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to interact with development teams, both teaching and learning from teammates.
  • Experienced or interested in topics including:
  • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCA or Nutanix NCP certification
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, Fortinet, Darktrace and/or SentinelOne
  • Cloud functionality, especially Amazon AWS
  • CIS Framework (we are currently engaged in an ongoing CIS program)
  • Enterprise backup, especially the Veeam stack, with onsite and offsite Cloud Connect
  • DevOps and SecOps
