Summary

The Supply & Planning Specialist is a member of the Supply Chain department and reports directly to the Supply & Planning Manager at Sun-Rype Products.

Key Activities

• Creating, monitoring, and communicating a weekly, monthly and annual production plan that will meet the objectives of the sales forecast & is aligned with business objectives;
• Analyzing product demand, establishing a finished goods inventory replenishment strategy and ability to collaborate with key internal/external stakeholders in the planning process;
• Utilizing MRP System to plan purchases and identify supply constraints;
• Maintaining supplier relationships and ensure consistent delivery performance;
• Managing inventory levels and obsolescence;
• Monitoring vendor performance and report non-compliance;
• Issuing POs and PO releases with accuracy;
• Maintaining vendor and item database records within ERP system;
• Managing inbound logistics and warehousing for specific ingredients & buy/sell products;
• Supporting transitions and new product introductions;
• Reviewing and recommending inbound Supply Chain process improvements; and
• Identifying and managing inbound Logistics risks.
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor of Commerce or Supply Chain or related Diploma
• APICS Certification is considered as an asset
• 3+ years’ Supply Chain experience in CPG environment

• Knowledge of domestic and international logistics;
