Superintendent – Business Development and StrategySudbury Integrated Nickel Operations (Sudbury INO)This position is accountable for Business Development activities within Glencore’s Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations (INO). Principal activities include maintaining existing business relationships and agreements with external companies to support existing operations, acting as a technical representative in prospective JV initiatives and, participating in similar discussions with other organizations as required. Key to the external relationships is identifying and developing new opportunities and agreements. This role will also lead the Sudbury INO Life-of-Mine planning process and undertake high-level project assessments.The position requires very strong relationship skills. The individual must provide leadership to Chief Engineers on an influence basis. The position must also integrate and work closely with the Management Team, with emphasis on relationships with Manager, Geology and Exploration and, Finance Director.The position requires a very strong background in Mine Engineering, Mine Design and Mine Operations. The individual must develop credibility within the organization to ensure the ability to effect actions without direct authority.
