• TECHNICAL SKILLS*
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of eight (8) years in stress analysis in the aerospace industry
• Previous experience performing *damage tolerance analysis* on aircraft primary structures
• Good knowledge in *aircraft metallic structure stress analysis* (practical experience on commercial aircraft structures is an asset).
• Damage tolerance analysis (NASGRO is an asset)
• Master MS Office* *software.
• Good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (Transport Canada is an asset).
• Strong, written and spoken, communication skills in English (French is an asset)
• Team player, well organized, strong sense of responsibility, good judgment and customer oriented.
• JOB DESCRIPTION*
• Interact with a multidisciplinary team in the development of structural repair solutions.
• Perform static *strength, durability, and damage tolerance* analyses for specific or generic *structural metallic repairs* in support to the Commercial Aircraft fleet.
• Support the completion of various aircraft structural manuals such as Aircraft Structural Repair Publication (ASRP) and Aircraft Maintenance Publication (AMP).
• Prepare or review stress analysis reports covering repairs or allowable damage limits to metallic structures. Actalent is an equal opportunity employer.
